if you are talking national as opposed to local i would suggest a jigsaw style map
with clickable segments (state/ county) where punters can see forthcoming attractions/acts etc in the area and neighbouring ones (as an option)

plenty of blurb about the security of your payment system

potentially a loyalty bonus scheme

a monthly prize draw (meet band cast etc) promoters regularly use carrots of this ilk to promote gigs

if using "heavy" graphics a dialup option with lower resolution/no sound etc (even a small portion of potential clients arent worth alienating whilst cutting too much out may not be desireable to the majority)

preferential rate scheme (ie limo company,hotels,etc )

NO HAMMOND ORGAN MUSIC IN THE BACKGROUND ok thats not an inclusion but i dont think i need say more
