Australia, The time that electronics (and rain) forgot.

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

that's right Dan, you were originally "Angel of Darkness" which was abbreviated to "AoD" - once you get a name, you're stuck with it even if it's not the name you wanted, or how you wanted it spelt. Look how many Swiss has got - Swiss, Swiss Drui, Dr.U.Id, Id, the Doctor. It could be worse for you; you could be called Esquilax - a veritable treasure-burrow of comedy material there!

why, look at some of my own nicknames (officially sanctioned by the Tawakalnistan Ministry of Culture)

Grand Mullah
Most Pious and Wise Mullah
His Serenity (hmm one of my personal favourites there, from the pen of Kai-Ping-Fu)

(Any and all alternatives that may be suggested by Esquilax, Jagged, Indy, Finalday, Mustang, Mr Ed, Cold_Void, Druid, Oghma, AELK, or anyone else who does not recognise the Tawakalni State or my suzerainty over it, are NOT officially sanctioned and therefore don't count and should be ignored <sniff> )

Taw's nicknames? Ah, there are so many, but I'll let you kids list them; I have work to do. Well, I don't really, but I have to look busy! *Enters shadows*

I thought it was because your paws can't manage the special characters?

I've always enjoyed using Twonkakalna myself.

the thought of what you might *use* anything for, fills me with trepidation. However I haven't woken to find you lurking in my en-suite yet, so there's a blessing.

And in a packed programme tonight, Tawakalnistan State Broadcasting is pleased to offer the following insulting character vignettes as part of a new competition in which viewers attempt to match the picture to the TLR member.

I fail to see why I should be listed.

I have not made a sport of your name.

Tawakalna, however, is not a very sexy name.

Dan, there is a government loan you can get for fees etc, you only pay it back when you're earning something like 15 / 18 grand a year, even then you pay back something like 5 quid a month / week.

I am vexed by this consistent portrayal that I am nothing but a loud-mouthed slovenly drunk!

I'll have be known that I'm a very tidy loud-mouthed drunk.

Indeed. Were that picture truly of the imperial one, the shoes would have been taken off and set neatly below the reclining figure and the jacket would have been used as a blanket.

i didn't say that you were loud-mouthed. However I have no evidence (direct or otherwise) of your sartorial elegance, or lack of it. I imagine however that your Savile Row suits don't necessarily stand up that well to an evening on the town with Mr Mustang.
