creating a new object instead ship or weapon

Hi , I'm a bit in knockout situation.

I still read many tut's in creating new ships, weapons and so on, but my aim is a bit different.
I want to create a big "wall" as new object. Still a simple cuboid with lenght and width of each 500 . Deepth should be maybe 50 or 100 ??

I'm working with new Milkshape 1.7.5 , cmp import and export plugins,photoshop 7.0

I created a simple box, renamed texture and groups, but the export wouldn't been shown in game. Realizing some "jumps" due viewing around for my object, it 's still there but invisible? So I made tests with "space_dome" and it's working, so modified ini seems working.

I guess my way of exporting should be false. But there is not so much to do wrong i thought. Also using utf editor doesn't help.


BTW, could somebody invest i think 5 minutes to create
a) such a cuboid for me as .ms3d, .cmp and right .mat?
b) a second cuboid with a 80x80 hole in the middle ?
As texture is a simple metalic blue or grey surface my favorite opinion.
