"I have the file in the right place and it is linked to it"

Erm, could you be more specific about that?

Here's how to get a ship ready to sell, in a nutshell:

1. The ship's Hull and Package must be listed in goods.ini

2. You must list the ship in the Marketships.ini file, and put it on sale at a Base that has a ShipDealer, such as LI01_02_Base (that'd be Pittsburgh). For example... a mod that I and Mandinga are going to release sometime soon ... has a ship called the R9SD in it. Here are the entries for LI01_02_Base:

[BaseGood
base = Li01_02_base
marketgood = r9sd_package, 1, -1, 1, 1, 0, 1, 1
marketgood = lfr_package, 1, -1, 1, 1, 0, 1, 1

There's more to putting a ship on sale than just that, of course- the Powerplant, Engine and other details must all be complete. But hey... that's what all of the Tutorials are for.

well i got the .3db file for the commodity button in the right folder and it is linked to it but it is not there when i go to buy a ship.

So... erm. I take it that you can buy the ship, and you can see where the icon should be, but you cannot see the actual icon? Please, more details are needed here- what you're saying is pretty vague.

Did you check and make sure that your file was the right size and type of image file? It needs to be 64X64, TARGA, not DDS. Do not include an alpha channel.

Well that is excatly what it is doing. btw i will check in on the alpha channels cuz i think i might of included them.

I checked and there is no alpha channels included. This just has me stumped
